윌로는 JTBC의 바디캠 프로그램의 로고, 타이틀, 디자인 패키지를 디자인 했습니다. 이 프로그램은 소방관과 경찰이 사고현장에 출동할 때 몸에 지니는 바디캠을 주제로 만든 프로그램으로, 다소 심각하며 현장감 있는 컨텐츠를 다루고 있습니다. 소방관과 경찰이 출동할 때 몸에 부착하는 바디캠은 생과 사의 경계를 넘나드는 위험한 현장을 그대로 보여줍니다. 소방관들은 재난 상황을 실시간으로 확인하고 대응하기 위해 바디캠을 사용하며, 경찰은 범죄 현장에서 용의자의 불법 행위를 증거로 기록하는 데 활용합니다. 하루에도 수백 번, 한 달이면 수만 번 이상 바디캠을 통해 촬영되는 충격적인 현장 영상은 우리가 미처 알지 못했던 그들의 세계를 조명합니다. 이를 통해 사회 전반의 안전 불감증에 경각심을 일깨우고, 긴급 상황에서의 적절한 대응 방안을 제시합니다.

The body cam that firefighters and police attach to their bodies when they are on the move shows the dangerous scene between life and death. Firefighting uses body cameras to check and respond to disaster situations in real time, and police use body cameras to gather evidence of the suspect's illegal activities. Hundreds of times a day, tens of thousands of times a month, and shock videos from the scene are filmed with body cameras. By illuminating the 'world they see' beyond our imagination, we raise the alarm about the public's insensitivity to safety and disclose appropriate countermeasures in emergency situations.

바디캠 로고는 실제 바디캠 하드웨어의 각진 형태와 빨간 REC 녹화 표시에서 모티브를 가져왔습니다. 액션·스릴러 영화 로고의 느낌을 살려 강렬한 분위기를 연출했으며, 거친 현장에서 긁힌 듯한 스크래치 텍스처를 적용해 긴박하고 사실적인 긴장감을 강조했습니다. 이를 통해 프로그램의 몰입감과 현장감을 극대화하는 강렬한 아이덴티티를 완성했습니다.

The Bodycam logo draws inspiration from the angular aesthetics of actual body cameras and the red REC recording indicator. Designed to evoke the feel of action and thriller movie logos, it features a bold, scratched texture that reflects the raw intensity and realism of emergency response scenes. The result is a high-impact, dynamic identity that enhances the show’s immersive storytelling.

소방관과 경찰이 바디캠에 담아낸 긴박한 상황을 2개의 대칭된 레이아웃을 활용해 표현하였으며, 이를 통해 전체적인 시각적 흐름을 형성 하면서도 강렬한 대비를 제공했습니다. 또한, 유명한 카우보이 비밥(Cowboy Bebop) 타이틀 디자인을 오마주로 삼고 발전시켜 씬 레이아웃을 효과적으로 구성했습니다.

The intense situations faced by firefighters and police officers, captured on body cams, are depicted using a Two-Split Symmetry Layout, creating an overall visual flow while providing contrast. Additionally, inspired by the Cowboy Bebop title, frames are used as a directing method to organize scene layouts.

ANIMATICS

CHARACTER DESIGN

전체적으로 캐릭터의 형태는 긴 팔다리와 단단한 체형을 기반으로 디자인되었으며, 두 캐릭터 간의 대조적인 인상을 강조했습니다.

소방관 캐릭터는 상체가 다부진 근육질의 체형으로 디자인되어 생명을 구하는 신뢰감 있는 인상을 전달합니다. 반면, 경찰 캐릭터는 긴 다리와 넓은 어깨를 가진 비율을 통해 신속하게 범죄자를 추격하는 날렵한 느낌을 표현했습니다.

Overall, the characters’s shape is based on long and sturdy limbs while there are contrasting impressions between two characters. The firefighter is big and muscular, conveying a strong impression of saving lives. The police officer has long legs and a broad-shouldered upper body, expressing a swift impression of chasing criminals.

STYLEFRAMES

한국의 소방관과 경찰관은 각각 고유한 유니폼과 컬러를 가지고 있습니다. 이를 활용해 색상환의 반대쪽에 위치한 블루와 오렌지를 대비시켜 강렬한 시각적 효과를 연출하였으며, 그 외의 컬러는 모노크롬으로 제한하여 전체적인 톤을 조절했습니다. 이러한 "대비"의 개념은 타이틀 전반의 연출 기법으로 활용되었습니다. 디자인은 각지고 묵직한 톤앤매너를 유지하려 했으며, 단순화된 형태, 바디캠 화면 레이아웃, 그리고 카우보이 비밥의 유명한 레이아웃 기법을 적극적으로 활용하여, 긴박한 분위기와 프로그램의 내용을 더욱 극적으로 전달했습니다.

Korean firefighters and police officers have distinctive uniforms and colors, which were leveraged to create a strong visual contrast. By using blue and orange—complementary colors on the color wheel—against a monochrome background, the color plan emphasizes high visual impact and separation. This concept of "contrast" was applied throughout the title’s visual direction. The design aimed for an angular and heavy tone, maintaining a bold and structured aesthetic. Simplified shapes, body cam screen layouts, and the iconic Cowboy Bebop layout technique were incorporated to enhance the dramatic storytelling and high-intensity atmosphere of the program
