WILLO - [JTBC] 동계올림픽 캠페인

OVERVIEW

JTBC에서 2026 밀라노 코르티나 동계올림픽 중계를 위해 기획한 캠페인 영상으로, 박진감 넘치는 동계올림픽 실사 경기 편집 위에 다채로운 스타일의 그래픽을 결합해 역동적인 화면 전개를 완성했습니다. 윌로 특유의 개성 있고 컬러풀한 그래픽으로 스포츠의 에너지와 캠페인의 몰입감을 동시에 강화했습니다.

This campaign film was produced for JTBC’s broadcast of the 2026 Milan–Cortina Winter Olympics. Dynamic live-action winter sports footage is combined with a wide range of graphic styles to create an energetic and fast-paced visual flow. WILLO’s bold and colorful graphics amplify the excitement of the games while adding a distinct creative identity to the campaign.

메인 슬로건인 ‘짜릿하게 다채롭게’와의 조화를 중심으로, 짜릿한 경기의 성공과 실패 순간 위에 씬마다 서로 다른 그래픽 스타일을 배치했습니다.

플랫한 2D 일러스트레이션부터 텍스처와 손그림의 질감이 살아 있는 표현, 반짝이는 재질감의 그래픽, 카툰 스타일과 사이파이 무드, 화려하고 아기자기한 이미지, 그리고 볼륨감이 느껴지는 3D 표현까지.

장면마다 대비되는 스타일을 통해 시청자의 시선을 지속적으로 환기시키는 것을 목표로 했습니다. 이질적인 스타일들이 실사 장면과 리듬감 있게 어우러지며, 동계올림픽의 긴장감과 에너지를 시각적으로 확장합니다.

In line with the campaign slogan “Thrilling and Colorful,” each scene features a distinct graphic style layered over moments of victory and defeat in the games. The visuals range from flat 2D illustrations and hand-drawn, textured graphics to shimmering materials, cartoon imagery, sci-fi–inspired visuals, richly decorative elements, and bold, volumetric 3D forms.

By placing contrasting styles scene by scene, the graphics continuously capture attention and enhance visual impact.

These diverse approaches blend rhythmically with live-action footage, amplifying the intensity and excitement of the Winter Olympics.

ANIMATION

이번 작업은 그래픽 스타일만큼이나 다양한 애니메이션 방식을 하나의 영상 안에 응축한 프로젝트입니다. 프레임 바이 프레임으로 직접 그린 셀 애니메이션을 비롯해, 움직임의 에너지를 증폭시키는 2D FX, 순간적으로 화면의 톤을 반전시키거나 전혀 다른 스타일로 전환되는 트랜지션을 유기적으로 결합했습니다. 여기에 디지털 픽셀 글리치와 3D 공간에서 콜라주 스타일로 자연스럽게 이어지는 공간 전환까지 더해, 장면마다 새로운 리듬과 감각을 만들어내는 애니메이션의 흐름을 완성했습니다.

This project brings together a wide range of animation techniques into a single, condensed visual experience. It features frame-by-frame cel animation, energetic 2D FX that amplify motion, and seamless transitions that instantly shift tone or visual style.

Digital pixel glitches and spatial transitions that flow from 3D environments into collage-like compositions further expand the visual language. By layering these techniques rhythmically throughout the film, the animation delivers constant variation and dynamic energy.
